The Department of Design Automation and Computing Systems (DACS) stands as a pioneering academic division, being the first in China dedicated to Electronic Design Automation (EDA) technologies and computing system. Established with a vision to bridge the gap between academic research and industry needs, DACS is committed to delivering comprehensive education and conducting cutting-edge research.
For students, DACS offers a curriculum that spans the entire EDA technology and computing system, from device-level to chip-level and system-level design. Our research endeavors delve into cutting-edge domains with a particular emphasis on end-to-end EDA tools and computing system.
Beyond academia, DACS actively fosters collaborations with the industry. We have cultivated strong ties through several joint laboratories. Recognizing the importance of a national strategy for EDA, DACS has played a crucial role in establishing the Institute of EDA at Wuxi.
