The department focuses on the research of integrated circuits and system-on-chip (SoC) design for various applications from computation to perception, transmission and storage. Demo chips have been designed and tapeout for AI accelerators, neuromorphic computing, high-performance ADC/DAC, intelligent IoT (AIoT), wireline/wireless data transceivers, etc. Each year, more than 10 papers are pulished on top-tiered conferences, e.g. ISSCC and VLSI, and JSSC journal from the department.
