Yuchao Yang is a Boya Distinguished Professor at School of Integrated Circuits, Peking University, and serves as Deputy Dean for School of Electronic and Computer Engineering. His research interests include artificial sensory neuron, multisensory system, in-sensor computing, and human-machine interface electronics. He has published over 150 papers in high-profile journals and conferences such as Nature Electronics, Nature Reviews Materials, Nature Communications, Nature Nanotechnology, Science Advances, IEDM, etc., which were cited >13000 times, with a h-index of 52. He was invited to give >70 keynote/invited talks and serves as TPC chair or member >10 international conferences. Yuchao Yang serves as the Associate Editor for npj Unconventional Computing, APL Machine Learning, Microelectronic Engineering, Nano Select, etc. He serves as the editorial board member for National Science Review, Chip, Science China Information Sciences, Acta Electronica Sinica, Integrated circuit industry series, and guest editor of Advanced Intelligent Systems and other periodicals. He is a recipient of The National Science Fund for Distinguished Young Scholars, the EXPLORER PRIZE, Qiu Shi Outstanding Young Scholar Award, Wiley Young Researcher Award, MIT Technology Review Innovators Under 35 in China, Outstanding Achievement Award in Scientific Research of the Ministry of Education, the Fok Ying-Tong Education Foundation Young Teachers Fund, Beijing Outstanding Youth Zhongguancun Award, etc. He was recognized as Highly Cited Chinese Researchers by Elsevier from 2020 to 2023.
