We have been developing active micro-/nano-structures for actuation and sensing to enable new paradigms of acoustics, nanomechanics, and matter manipulation. Representative works include multipurpose acoustic panels for spatial sound control, molecular actuator for energy-efficient ultrafast electromechanical switching, scalable self-limiting assembly of nanoparticles, magnetomechanoelectric transducers and self-powered sensors.
